Dan grew up in southeastern Massachusetts with strong male role models in his life. These influences were key in his development into the man he has become. Through college, marriage, and starting a family, he always did was he was taught to do – be the quiet provider. And he still does that. At a certain point, he began to look for more – guidance, camaraderie, challenge – a tribe! It was during this journey that he found answers to many of his questions both on what it means to be a man, but HOW to be a man. It’s the results of this ongoing journey that he wants to share with you.
Brad grew up in Utah. As a quiet introverted kid, he spent much of his childhood observing and seeking knowledge, which has benefitted him to this day. However, those same quiet tendencies led to him becoming a “Nice Guy” in order to seek approval. Those tendencies impacted much of his childhood into his marriage. A cancer diagnosis for his wife opened his eyes to needing to be a better man for her and his kids, but especially for himself. He has fully embraced the battle to become the man he needs to be and has found joy and purpose in becoming uncomfortable and ultimately untamed.
