Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. – Theodore Roosevelt
In this episode, Dan and Brad dive into the concept of the Strenuous Life and how the idea of intentional struggle will benefit every man. They both talk about their individual journeys to live a Strenuous Life and the profound growth that’s come from choosing to embrace it.
While this concept was popularized by Theodore Roosevelt, it’s something that is equally important today. Roosevelt lived a life embracing the difficult and made himself into one of the greatest men to ever live. We too can choose the Strenuous Life and become strong both physically and mentally, which will allow us to become men of integrity and tremendous strength.
